Abbey Road Farm Fall Wedding in Oregon Wine Country

Jessica and Joe’s Abbey Road Farm fall wedding was a romantic October day filled with candlelight, laughter, and a hint of Oregon rain. Set among vineyards and rolling farmland, this wedding embraced all the beauty of fall in wine country.

Getting Ready: From McMinnville to the Abbey

The groom and his group of eight groomsmen got ready at the luxurious Atticus Hotel in downtown McMinnville. With its modern decor and natural light, it was the perfect place for pre-ceremony moments and group portraits.

Meanwhile, Jessica prepped in Abbey Road Farm’s beautiful bridal suite, surrounded by her eight bridesmaids, three flower girls, and her glam squad from Luxe Artistry Group. Before slipping into her halter gown by Michael Christopher, she carved out time for a surprise mini boudoir session—intimate, fun, and full of confidence.

Ceremony in the Wine Barrel Room at Abbey Road Farm

The Abbey Road Farm fall wedding ceremony was held indoors in the warm and rustic wine barrel room. Jessica’s father walked her down the aisle for a traditional and emotional exchange of vows. With no maid of honor or best man, each person in the wedding group had special significance.

During cocktail hour, the venue’s team flipped the space from ceremony to reception. Guests sipped and mingled while the wine barrel room was transformed with glowing candles and soft floral details by Willow Vine Floral.

Jessica and Joe spent cocktail hour exploring the scenic property for portraits. We captured golden hour magic in the vineyard, near the farm animals, and in the open field. As evening rain rolled in, we tucked inside one of the many charming buildings for cozy, romantic shots that added to the autumn feel.

Candlelight Reception and Dance Party

Dozens of candles lit up the reception—especially the long head table where the wedding group sat. Dinner by Willaby’s Catering was warm and delicious, followed by heartfelt toasts and an epic dance party with DJ Kevin from NW Mobile DJ. It was the perfect ending to their fall wedding at Abbey Road Farm.

A Love Story That Began at a Deli

Their love story started years before wedding planning. Jessica had been a longtime customer at Joe’s family’s Portland deli. On December 23rd, 2018, fate intervened when Joe walked into her favorite dive bar. One drink led to a night of conversation, an early morning dance in her living room, and a date that changed everything.

They soon moved to McMinnville to reopen a second Geraldi’s location together. On the one-year anniversary of re-opening, Joe proposed with a heart drawn in the sand in Pacific City—no photographers, no crowd, just love.

Planning Their Fall Wedding

Planning during a pandemic wasn’t easy. As two self-employed professionals (Jessica is a tax accountant and Joe runs the deli), time was tight and uncertainty was high. They secured their venue early but booked most vendors just six months before the big day. Jessica’s advice? “Don’t procrastinate! Give yourself margin or hire a planner.”
